Hey homey,
I am coming to Cali this fall if all goes well. So if you don't move perhaps we'll run into each other. I'll be visiting my sis for a few days and enjoying the city. I need the escape. I do love Seattle. Had a blast there several years ago and have since wanted to return.
Nikki and I are finished. It's much more than I thought I could deal with right now. I'll get through it fine, but it's alot more on my plate than I care for. Thank you for your insight.

Ants have become a real issue around the house. In fact, I have an ant crawling behind my ear right now. I left a bunch of dishes in the sink tonight and suddenly we have an anthill in the sink. When I first notice this, I chose not to do anything; the ignorance is bliss route, even though I know I'm just delaying. My roommate...

re: gimmes? That truly has too many potentially disturbing connotations.

Sorry about the ants... they really will go away if there is no food around for them to feast on. Try living on dry goods this summer? Hmm.. confused
spaztikfantaztik:
my solution tip? create a diversion of sorts. i've found that ansy ants aren't so fond of cayenne pepper - just sprinkle a dash along their route and they tend to go another direction pretty quickly. nonlethal too.

of course, that keep the place clean thing works pretty well too wink not sure about latino ants however.

oh, and re: peaceable kingdom - i saw the premiere here at lincoln center - quite the flick!

This world is collapsing, and every word I feel as it comes from your mind.
Undressed of our reserve, we are a little simple and use smaller words.
Living for life causes this black vacuum that crushes, and happiness loving you with or without me.
I guess that we both feel it as I guess we both silently choke as I silently choke in the...

Wiggle word for this July Thursday,

Although time changes fact into memory, which is more like a thought than reality, never forget the lessons that you once vowed to never forget.

just be careful to not allow memories of past injustice hinder you from enjoying the present to its full potential. (Because there is a lot of potential)

I had more, but I'll skip the hippie-isms.

Things are going well, really well. I forgot all you have to do is surrender.

Mother told me, yes, she told me I'd meet girls like you
She also told me, "Stay away, you'll never know what you'll catch"
Just the other day I heard a soldier falling off some Indonesian junk that's going round

Mommy's alright, Daddy's alright, they just seem a little weird...

Its not so much that I have anything against sunrises per se, it was more the point of that particular sunset marking the necessary conclusion of our night.
Its my own fault. Stars, the ocean, a beautiful girl... I was bound to get sappy and sentimental.

"But can we feel sure that an old dog with an excellent memory and some power of imagination, as shewn by his dreams, never reflects on his past pleasures of the chase? and this would be a form of self-consciousness. Who can say what cows feel when they surround or stare intently on a dying or dead companion?"

The shitty thing about humans is that they are unpredictable. How do you tell somebody that nobody asked about them at their high school reunion?

Back. That trip had more journal-entry-moments than I care to write. But now that I'm back, exhausted & behind, I probably won't be around much. Nagoonbarry reminds me of the Hmong mother in "The spirit catches you and you fall down". This Hmong mothers persistent, devoted, and aw inspiring care of her little quadriplegic daughter is a quality that I see in Nagoonbarry and think...

re: learning curve.

I should've learned about my easily burned skin last week. The bull, I should've known about before I ever got on. But Nancy_Boy dragged me by my pigtails, so what else was to be done?

Glad to see you survived. And it sounds like you actually got some reading in too.
