I put hours and hours into this game. Holy shit did I play the hell out of this game. My sister and I would fight over the Snes all the time because we were both addicted. I had played it so that I could see ever outcome possible. I married every girl I could, fixed the farm made the parents proud, but also did nothing and had the farm taken away. I mean every outcome haha. This game was the beginning of my training in being able to stare at a screen for hours on end haha.
Second up the PlayStation 2!
Final Fantasy X!
When I was super little I watched my brother play the earlier ones, FFVII and FFVIII in particular, however FFX was the first one I obsessed over and finished. I use to wake up early before school so I could play it, come home and play till I passed out. I feel in love with the characters, I cried countless times I'm not even kidding. FFX was the game that took it to the next level for me. From an addictive hobby to emotional connection.
Last up the original Xbox -
Halo
I remember it was two days before my sixth birthday, it was my brother's fifteenth birthday and he had just got an Xbox. We stayed up all night playing halo. It was the first FPS I was good at. I use to play co-op games with my big brother and his friends for hours, every weekend we would have LAN parties at our house. Like FFX I got way to emotionally attached. I guess it's the game I really grew up with because it came out while I was still really young. As I grew up I stopped hanging out with my brother so much, but we always make sure to catch up once a month for a firefight session. It's our little tradition.
Video games have been a huge part of my life for so long, it's my escape to a better world.
Thanks for reading into my ramblings once again guys😘
Much love,
Vexia xx
