I always preferred a sunset over a sunrise. But on that early Sunday morning, the sky lit up in the most gorgeous sapphire blue I had ever seen. The chilling winter stung with ever gust wind that passed through the lace hitting my skin, but was slowly soothed by the gradually appearing sun creeping in from the shore line. I never appreciated the beaches I had growing up in Australia, but setting up on the sand with the breath taking view in front of me, I started to. Standing there in my rawest form I felt like I could feel the ocean pouring into my skin, with the warmth of the sun behind me protecting me from its cold embrace. Like the perfect balance.
