Since I happen to know you're kinda intelligent, analytical and confident, it comes as no surprise that you weren't buying into the crude but usually effective manipulation. Of course there's nothing wrong with makeup or anything else you do for fun, but an industry that seeks to make people feel valueless without creating an illusion has to be examined and viewed in a realistic context. It may be an exotic weekend; I might even ride my bicycle a bit, if you can imagine. There's an amazing economics book from 1935 by the former mayor of Vancouver that I'm scanning for my friend to republish. It's definitely a quirky way of reading a book and also a chance to force a computer to do my bidding. It's great to have power and it's just a part of my exciting life. Of course, I'd trade it all to know you're healthy, my dear friend.

and sorry about the funeral... suicide is maybe one of the hardest things to deal with, I think. When someone dies because of illness, or even accident, it just seems a little more acceptable like, "well that's what life decided was right" kind of thing... but when someone kills themself, I think it's harder to wrap your head around.
I don't know. I feel weird talking about it, because I know from experience, and I don't know if it's *right* that I talk about it or not.
But yeah. *pause*
