I recently discovered Belle & Sebastian a few months ago. I've picked up my 3rd Belle & Sebastian CD and am listening to it now. They are easily now one of my favorite bands.

I'm of the mind that you can't blame people for being what they are, as long as they're not hurting anyone. If someone is intellectually limited, they probably don't have much choice about it. Same thing with ignorance...if people are born into cultures or families where they are indoctrinated and sheltered from life, you can't fault...

I agree 100%. I really, really try hard to forgive ignorance . . . especially when the person hasn't yet had a chance to know better. But then again, that's why I'm a teacher . . . to make sure these people don't have an excuse anymore.
