Guys, I need your advice.
I've spent the last two years growing out my hair, it's literally the longest it's ever been and I couldn't be happier. My hair is very thin and I don't have a lot of it, so when it's not styled, it's very stick-to-my-head-y. BUT In the last few years, I've gotten less tomboy and way more interested in doing my hair/makeup and now I actually know HOW to style it, so when I do, it looks fabulous.
Here it is at it's shortest, I was 18.
However, now that it's all long and pretty (I say this and yet it's really not *that* long, doesn't even reach my nipples), I am bored of it and want to shave it all off! Well, not all of it, just most of it. I have always wanted a mohawk, but my ex-fiance said that if I got one he would leave me. I know, I know, we aren't together anymore, so I learned my lesson about living to someone else's standards. Also, I was afraid that my volume-less hair would be all limp and gross without the full amount of it present. But now I could style it all nice (hopefully!). So what say you? I've been researching lady mohawks for a about a week now and I reeeeeeeeeeeally want one. But who knows, maybe by next week I'll have changed my mind.
Also, I still can't figure out the difference between an 'uppercut' and a mohawk, but I guess that's my awesome hairstylist's job to know. Here are some inspirational photos I found online.
The other major issue is that most 'hawks either seem to have no bangs, or messy side-swept bangs, and I *really* like my blunt, bettie bangs. I love the pinup look and having long hair is a lot easier to style that way. SIGH. Who knows? Anyway here are some fun photos of my hair journey throughout the years. I've been dyeing my hair since I was 12 (!) and the second I graduated private highschool, I dyed it pink! That was my favorite, it was like that for two years. I've tried to put them in chronological order!<3
In this one I'm just a baby! 15 and black hair, haha.
