I learned to make Naan and Chicken Jalfrezi today from an Indian guy, he teaches in a public school here in Korealand. I now feel stuffed and a bit like a fat bastard, but I am happy with my new cooking skill. It is Naan that will be the most useful as it is very easy compared to sourdough or 90% of anything else I...

Obama is a politician. Like I wrote, politicians are a nasty bunch, no matter what. Still he is surely better than that silly mess Bush was...

So, I have been rendering my own lard to do anything that resembles baking. Shortening is not available here, and butter simply isn't as good for baking breads, pie crusts and the like. So, I wander around town asking butchers shops for what is thought of by the butcher as garbage. They look at me like I am completely insane, then they see the cowboy...

But doesnt always have seeds and is usually more of a mound than a pankcake- and sort of squishy to the touch but keeps its form.. you must have had it! :o

I have a sad confession to make. Judas Priest is playing Seoul and I am trying to figure out if I have the cash to go. It is the whole wandering around Seoul that quickly becomes very expensive for me. I will usually drop $250 per 24 hours in Seoul, I want to leave tonight and begin the chaos but the Show isn't until Sunday....

Dude! You should totally go and see Judas Priest! I'd adore to see them live, but I've never had the chance yet.
Money is a total chocker.. but it's possibly worth dropping some in this situation.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my Member Review set 'Entrepreneur', Darling. I'm glad that you liked it!
It's greatly appreciated.

I am having too much fun...
I think I get to go to a Korean Hospital in a few hours, because the concept of just a doctor's office is not something they seem to grasp.

Thanks for the love on my latest set!

annyonghaseo!!

I probably spelled that SO wrong LOL

The y don't understand that a doctor's office is different than a hospital. When i first got here, kids said they went to the hospital and i was like, "OMG, are you ok?" and then i realized they went to the "hospital" for shit like colds....and that hospital to them really meant doctor's office.

Ok, I never thought I would write or say this but it is true so.
Dried Octopus, and these strange lemon flavored nuts are really good with what passes for beer here in Korea. Yeah, I actually like it, tenticles and all.

So, how's korea treating you? I've never had the squid stuff (smells awful), and i'm not sure about lemony nuts, but the beer IS crap here. It's only redeeming feature is that it's cheap as shit...and still gets you drunk.
saffire:
How long you staying in Korea for?

I'm in Masan, South Korea now. I have been here since June 2, 2008. It is weird and different in some very good ways. I got drunk enough Saturday night that I blacked out and have no memory of well anything after my third double bourbon..... Yeah, none, I am guessing that I didn't turn into too much of an asshole as I didn't wake...

So Murphy seems to be making me his Bitch again.

A side note to give you a frame of reference, many people I know have called me on and off today all day long including a few that decided to wake me up asking me all the same crap, it is April 15th what do I have to do with Taxes today? And the questions...
