I'm really starting to fall in love with my truck. I wish someone would come out with a street legal turbo kit for it. I know this'll never happen, but in a few years someone will surely come out with a street legal supercharger kit.

Well, looks like this might be my last journal entry for a while. Maybe not - we'll see. If I...

My favorite group, Edge Crushers, lost a member the other day to an overdose. Ain't gonna say too much about it, cause I've said everything I need to in the group. Still, it's weighing heavier on me then I would have thought it would.

Got my truck back from the dealership today. They couldn't find the little noise I was complaining about, but they disassembled...

Hehehehehe.

I'm rolling pretty again.

I got my camper shell today. Looks pretty good. Along with it came a small bottle of touch up paint that is color matched to my truck, so I can fix those little scraps I've been bitching about.

While I was in that area I went and got a used tire for the blow out I had two months ago....

So my friend did get the 89 Saleen.

He goes to pick it up pretty soon and is going to swing on down here to TX just before I leave so that maybe we can hit up a few grudge nights at the local track. You know, in between high speed jaunts down the local highways and all wink

Man, it is waaaaay past my bed...

Thanks for sharing your sick-ie story! I guess, more than just feeling run-down, I'm frustrated b/c the weather's getting nicer and I want to experience it and parallel that renewed Spring energy frequency inside myself. Instead I'm a congested snotty mess. surreal

Oh well. Life goes on... smile

Should I happen to die a fiery death in the next few weeks, know that I loved you all very much.

See, my friend just purchased an 89 Saleen....!!!!!!!!!....so, you know, I need to drive up to Clovis, NM to rag the living fuck out of it in the desert. Chances of my returning in one piece are maybe 4 to 1. 5 to 1...

Man, even if he does give me the car, I don't know that I can take it. I mean, getting it up to Seattle would cost a lot (I can fly down for free, but driving up there would cost a lot in gas and hotels). Then there is the whole thing about getting it fixed - the electrical repairs would be cheap, but wouldn't be free (and I am penniless at the moment). Still, the transaxle is brand-fucking-new. And my older brother could really use a new vehicle. I'm sure if I gave it to him he'd fly down with me and help me drive it back and pay to get the little shit fixed, with the understanding that in a year or so I'd want it back (when I was in a position to fix it up proper).

Course, I could just have my Dad drive it up when I take the truck and trailer up. He bitched at the idea of taking his truck up to (I am trying to give my Dad's truck to my brother - hehehehe, and now my cousin wants it back, cause it was HER Dad's before he died, then she sold it to my Dad, but now that she's taking over my business she needs a truck, and since he's planning on getting rid of it anyways...long story, huh? It's even more complicated then all that), but....

I dunno. I need to think about this.

I said it three times already, and I'll say it again:

That Yeah Yeah Yeahs album is fucking hot. H-O-T, hot!

I got my eviction notice today - kind of. It's more of a note saying they're gonna cut off my power in a few days if I don't pay up. I can live with that, but it did kick me into high gear on...

Yeah the plastic leg look on the Hooter's waitresses really sucks and they should be required to have DD cup racks as a condition of employment biggrin The problem with cheap condemned houses up here is lead paint and asbestoes , one 6 family house I bought many years ago as a rental property for $37,000 cost me $150,000 in lead abatement costs and I still had to retrofit the electrical , hvac , and water systems , I ended up loosing the house to eminent domain before I could recoup my investment , cause the town needed to widen the road mad

"Fever to Tell" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is a fucking awesome album. For some reason, it makes me think of the movie Near Dark. Odd, since Near Dark is a Western Vampire movie (sounds gay, but it's truly the best vampie movie I've ever seen).

Ugh. I ate a chicken sandwhich from McDonalds a little while ago. Fuck, I need to listen to my...

Sadly the real estate market around here is taking a hit now from the shitty economy , I hope it does not crash like it did back in 1992 eeek Hopefully the seattle - kent area wont drop too much cause that would make for a shitty time to start a construction company shocked

Well, I'm glad I didn't go to the Mad Max marathon at the Alamo Drafthouse. Apparently some local enthuisiasts got together, dressed up like characters for the movie, jumped onto replica bikes/cars, and chased a water tanker truck (driven by another enthuisiast) all the way to the theatre, but the cops got called because other people thought a tanker was being hijacked. So everyone got...

If you don't kill the canadian geese before they are six months old the meat becomes so tough all you can do is make jerky , soups , and stew . A good friend of mine tried making the jerky several times and it never was very good . I used to have too deep fry my turkeys that I hunted cause that was the only real way I could get anyone to eat them . There is a couple of HUGE pheasants running aroud out back , they are native so they are twice the size of the puny stocked birds , and boy do they taste good love

OH , our governor just raised the taxes on the smokes up here so now they are like five bucks a pack biggrin

Wow, so I finally, after what a year or more?, went out and got the Yeah Yeah Yeahs album. Christ, that shit is fucking awesome! I also bought The Office Season One (the BBC version, i.e. the good version) and Reno 911! Season One (!!!!!!!!!!!). Yeah, so I got paid obviously. Fuckin' a, it took me twenty minutes and two fingerprints to get my damn...

Decided to update again while I wait for this stupid fucking BoA webpage to load (online banking is for people with cable modems).

So I helped that old timer friend of mine install a security light at one of my step mom's/dad's rentals. Did a lot of work on that house when they bought it (including somehow managing to get every shingle off the roof...

Getting all worked up allready , you might want to look into a propane powered generator so you can run the heaters off the same fuel source , and the infrared panel heaters don't require electricity so you will have more generator capacity available for the compressor and power tools etc...
I don't know if you build on concrete slabs down there in Texas , but up north you typically are not allowed to build on a slab , you need a full basement that extends below the frost line with proper drainage etc... If you are near a earthquake fault line there are even more requirements too .
You might want to look just builing a home for a property owner , many people buy the land and have an architect design their dream home before they look for a contractor to build their home , that would be an easier way to get yourself started without worrying about financing everything on your own , less risk too biggrin

My opening day fishing plans for this morning got dashed by a consulting customer emergency , so after I finish wrapping things up I might get a chance to grab a pole and catch diner biggrin
