Should I happen to die a fiery death in the next few weeks, know that I loved you all very much.

See, my friend just purchased an 89 Saleen....!!!!!!!!!....so, you know, I need to drive up to Clovis, NM to rag the living fuck out of it in the desert. Chances of my returning in one piece are maybe 4 to 1. 5 to 1...

Man, even if he does give me the car, I don't know that I can take it. I mean, getting it up to Seattle would cost a lot (I can fly down for free, but driving up there would cost a lot in gas and hotels). Then there is the whole thing about getting it fixed - the electrical repairs would be cheap, but wouldn't be free (and I am penniless at the moment). Still, the transaxle is brand-fucking-new. And my older brother could really use a new vehicle. I'm sure if I gave it to him he'd fly down with me and help me drive it back and pay to get the little shit fixed, with the understanding that in a year or so I'd want it back (when I was in a position to fix it up proper).

Course, I could just have my Dad drive it up when I take the truck and trailer up. He bitched at the idea of taking his truck up to (I am trying to give my Dad's truck to my brother - hehehehe, and now my cousin wants it back, cause it was HER Dad's before he died, then she sold it to my Dad, but now that she's taking over my business she needs a truck, and since he's planning on getting rid of it anyways...long story, huh? It's even more complicated then all that), but....

I dunno. I need to think about this.

I said it three times already, and I'll say it again:

That Yeah Yeah Yeahs album is fucking hot. H-O-T, hot!

I got my eviction notice today - kind of. It's more of a note saying they're gonna cut off my power in a few days if I don't pay up. I can live with that, but it did kick me into high gear on...

Yeah the plastic leg look on the Hooter's waitresses really sucks and they should be required to have DD cup racks as a condition of employment biggrin The problem with cheap condemned houses up here is lead paint and asbestoes , one 6 family house I bought many years ago as a rental property for $37,000 cost me $150,000 in lead abatement costs and I still had to retrofit the electrical , hvac , and water systems , I ended up loosing the house to eminent domain before I could recoup my investment , cause the town needed to widen the road mad

"Fever to Tell" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is a fucking awesome album. For some reason, it makes me think of the movie Near Dark. Odd, since Near Dark is a Western Vampire movie (sounds gay, but it's truly the best vampie movie I've ever seen).

Ugh. I ate a chicken sandwhich from McDonalds a little while ago. Fuck, I need to listen to my...

Sadly the real estate market around here is taking a hit now from the shitty economy , I hope it does not crash like it did back in 1992 eeek Hopefully the seattle - kent area wont drop too much cause that would make for a shitty time to start a construction company shocked

Well, I'm glad I didn't go to the Mad Max marathon at the Alamo Drafthouse. Apparently some local enthuisiasts got together, dressed up like characters for the movie, jumped onto replica bikes/cars, and chased a water tanker truck (driven by another enthuisiast) all the way to the theatre, but the cops got called because other people thought a tanker was being hijacked. So everyone got...

If you don't kill the canadian geese before they are six months old the meat becomes so tough all you can do is make jerky , soups , and stew . A good friend of mine tried making the jerky several times and it never was very good . I used to have too deep fry my turkeys that I hunted cause that was the only real way I could get anyone to eat them . There is a couple of HUGE pheasants running aroud out back , they are native so they are twice the size of the puny stocked birds , and boy do they taste good love

OH , our governor just raised the taxes on the smokes up here so now they are like five bucks a pack biggrin

Wow, so I finally, after what a year or more?, went out and got the Yeah Yeah Yeahs album. Christ, that shit is fucking awesome! I also bought The Office Season One (the BBC version, i.e. the good version) and Reno 911! Season One (!!!!!!!!!!!). Yeah, so I got paid obviously. Fuckin' a, it took me twenty minutes and two fingerprints to get my damn...

you know, as an independent contractor, you still need to file and pay. I've seen some girls I work with get nabbed by the IRS, and it isn't pretty. frown

Decided to update again while I wait for this stupid fucking BoA webpage to load (online banking is for people with cable modems).

So I helped that old timer friend of mine install a security light at one of my step mom's/dad's rentals. Did a lot of work on that house when they bought it (including somehow managing to get every shingle off the roof...

Getting all worked up allready , you might want to look into a propane powered generator so you can run the heaters off the same fuel source , and the infrared panel heaters don't require electricity so you will have more generator capacity available for the compressor and power tools etc...
I don't know if you build on concrete slabs down there in Texas , but up north you typically are not allowed to build on a slab , you need a full basement that extends below the frost line with proper drainage etc... If you are near a earthquake fault line there are even more requirements too .
You might want to look just builing a home for a property owner , many people buy the land and have an architect design their dream home before they look for a contractor to build their home , that would be an easier way to get yourself started without worrying about financing everything on your own , less risk too biggrin

My opening day fishing plans for this morning got dashed by a consulting customer emergency , so after I finish wrapping things up I might get a chance to grab a pole and catch diner biggrin

Well, well, well.

I am technically without a business now.

That investment thing I was talking about, the house building in the Seattle area - yeah, it's looking sweeter and sweeter. I'd need about $150k up front, if we put the land on a loan (that includes the down payment for the land). I'm getting quotes from plumber, electrician and foundation companies over the next...

Thank Jeebus, today is my last day with my business, though I have a feeling that over the weekend I'll still be doing a few things off the books to help my cousin get caught up. Funny thing is, when I took over the business, I had seven vacancies, and now when she's taking it over, it looks like she's going to have seven, too....

we do use 300000BTU forced air kerosene heaters though to keep warm during cold weather work , they look like little jet engines mounted on a fuel tank , I used to use one in my garage until I picked up a couple of infrared propane panel type heaters , the radiant heat from them rocks biggrin

So this old timer I know got into it with his old lady the other night and she ran him off. Unfortunately for her, he was only too happy to leave, and had only stayed with her because they'd been forced to adopt their grand daughter, and he didn't want the kid to be without a father. Anyways, so he's staying with my cousin and...

I don't remember if it was a US one I had used or a swedish or what it was. But I had used one machete that was really heavy, sturdy and sharp.
There's a US one available form this site and a company that claims to make things simaler to US issue but better. I might give it a shot instead of the actual US issue.
Still a damn nice, carbon steel machete for $25, even if I have to give it a touch up now and then,

And this will be my second time seeing Motorhead. I saw them in toronto with Iron maiden and dio two years ago.

Isn't poaching another way of cooking fish wink besides sometimes when I surfcast late at night on the sound during rainstorms it is kind of hard to get a good measurement on a keeper striper , and the crabs allways have eaten the carcass long before daylight , it's a good thing I can filet a fish in the dark biggrin

Ah, man.

I'm being forced to kick out my all-time favorite tenants. Apparently they are giving my step mother, the realtor, a reall hard problem about letting prospective buyers come into the house to look at it, so naturally she bitched and moaned to the owner, who called me to tell me to kick them out early. So I'm sitting here for the last twenty...

I used to own 20 plus rental units for just over ten years , and only had to force a tenant out once , I had to hire US marshals to do it cause we no longer have sherifs up here , the judge orders the marshals to load everything from the apartment into a moving van and place it in a storage unit untill the former tenant pays the back rent and court awarded damages etc .... the only bad part is how long the whole process takes , it took just over 6 months to get rid off those drug dealing assholes mad

Cancun was great , but the maids were fat old skanks , a couple of the waitressess were ok . The water was rough the whole time due to high winds , did some diving and spearfishing , plus a few charter trips for various grouper and snapper etc.... the resort chef steamed my catch for me , cause my dietary restrictions only allow less than 1000mg of sodiun an no potasium per day . Heck I just went out and bought a new steamer for cooking fish at home , I think it is opening day this Saturday , I need to finish spreading the clay base in my pond so I can start filling it soon , and add some structure too .

I've allways had a softspot for all those old IROC's , with very little work they can hold over 1G on the skid pad , and perform pretty well with the 305tpi 5 speed combo , I just got a bunch of parts in to make my race car streetable yesterday , the big radiator etc , pluse all the goodies to fill a dart block , head , intake combo , now I need to get a bunch of quotes for all the machine work on the parts . It will make an interesting toy for cruise nights and rides to the beach for the car shows down there biggrin

Well, the Spurs went into double over time AGAIN tonight - thats the second time in as many days. Christ, those last two games were amazing, and the one tonight was within a couple inches of going into triple over time.

So I figure in like three or four months Ill have my truck paid down enough so that when I decide to sell it...

What a time to be a Spurs fan.

Why is my apartment so damn hot? I'm sweating like crazy up in here. I need a cigarette. I started smoking again, but I'm going to quit, I hope, again before it gets out of hand. blackeyed
