So we all sitting around looking at the new year like it is a new year, but that construct is just in our mind. Nothing has changed unless we have made active to make change. Which like 99 percent of new years resolutions, they last til the fifth when everything else wears off that you took on new years eve. The new year isnt about starting something new or ending this and that, its just a general timeline to re-evaluate the past year. So its past the recent new years eve doers......its time for the real people of this year to wake up and start making things happen instead of just hanging with the hype of it happening cause its new years. The true change wont matter on the time or date or year, but on the change inside of a person to make that choice. I could blame my year on a bad new years, but that would be wrong, its my mentality as i live daily, every day through this year that matters. So for all out there down cause they didnt quit smoking or didnt get on the treadmill again. Well starting a new progression of life isnt about a day, but a change in yourself, and taking steps towards it every day. Cut that one cig out less a day every week, take the stairs those other days, whatever your challenge is, you need not be a champion and tackle the whole problem all at once by yourself, take it a piece at a time. Cause whatever your vice or negative is, i guarentee that it didnt start out that way. You didnt start smoking two packs a day, or eatting five pizzas a day. It all built up, so break down it slowly and just work slowly towards wahtever your goal is. That is my advice for new years....after the new years......least maybe someone sober enough to listen now :P hehehhehehe
