1:42 am. i have to take my brother to the airport in an hour. he's going to turkey.
How long've they been after me?
^disregard this.
i got some cool stuff for christmas. nothing out of this world rad, like, say ... a new macbook! (jealous!) but rad, nonetheless. i got the new chocolate phone, which i haven't dl'd anything into yet. my laptop sucks, and nothing works right on it. anyways, i got a laptop bag from my mom which i love to DEATH. and, uh, it came with a wireless mouse and usb hub and lock and key and all were things i needed. thanks, mom!
yes. but then i got the raddest gift, ever. i got a voice recorder. a little digital one. you have no idea what that means. i love these things. i have a transcriber, but it's not portable. it uses cassette tapes, right? so i cant exactly take that along in my pocket, now can i? ridiculous! no, but with this little voice recorder, i can do just that. and i do. i love it. i, uh, used to have one, years ago. i loved it, as well. it wasn't fancy. it used micro-cassettes, and was actually quite bulky. BUT, i loved it anyway, and i took it everywhere. i would record ideas for stories, or record myself describing a dream i had, before it was lost to me, or i would just use it like a journal. it was always with me, and it had very personal insights into my life (and i am quite private, in real life). then, one day, i lost it on the bus. i was wrecked. i beat myself up pretty good over that. it sucked. i wrote this about it on Friday DECEMBER 2, 2005 @ 08:05 PM:
'i wonder if whoever found it ever listened to it. and if they did, did they keep it or just record over it. i'm not sure which would piss me off more.'
BUT! now's a new era, and i'm a new me... but older. i'm older new me. and i like paper. like, pads of paper. i like stationary. and pens and markers and crayons and thing like this. these things are awesome. seriously, i'm easy to buy gifts for.
i'm sleepy.

morgan:
My plan (so I can at least feel like I'm doing SOMETHING) is to make doctors appointments for March/April now. Hopefully I can schedule them all in one or two days that way and not miss much work.
