So Justin (Imola S4) had a little gtg at his house today to do work on our cars. Justin, Gary, Jay, Christine, Tony, and myself were all there, and we all had our hands dirty.
Justin did his timing belt, but has some trouble with a mis-fire now. Christine and Tony did her spark plugs, and it was funny to hear Christine say "fuck" because when she first started her car only half the cylinders were firing.. "what the fuck was that bullshit?!" heh. It was an easy fix, just a swap of a few plug wires and all was good.
I installed my ECS Tuning short shifter, also with the help of Tony, who is the man when it comes to TT's. I didnt have the stock shifter linkage so I melded the Diesel Geek linkage that I already had installed together with the ECS Tuning shift linkage the B&M shifter to form a really short throw... an unbelievable short throw. I also installed the first of three VF Engineering engine mounts today, and I am so far happy with the results.
