Yeah, that's right! Orange tried to keep me down. The bastards deleted my account. I had to phone OFCOM and everything. Oh, by the way, don't phone OFCOM, they'll only tell you that they don't take on individual cases. But they do get nicely flustered when you ask them what they do actually do. But yes, I am back. This time a bit more permanently...

Apparently, or so I'm told. Louis Armstrong himself referred to him as "That cat from England that can really wail" That's high praise. High praise indeed. Even Radiohead thought that he could wail so good that he guested on one of their albums.

I only ever knew him on this show. He's had me howling with laughter until the tears ran down my cheeks. His...

You can certainly say that.

Having loads of free time is weird! Currently spending it sleeping and flat hunting.

I'm feeling a bit without an oar/focus now, thinking about travel or something.

As written in the meaning of liff, the definition of the word 'Ely' is

The first, tiniest inkling you get that something, somewhere, has gone terribly wrong

And you know when that feeling grows over a period of time until it almost overwhelms you with it's promise of a mighty doom?

Well, I've been having the almost opposite of that.

Nothing is going wrong....

So, I still seem to be online after a couple of days. How novel.

So this begs the question, "So, oh Gleeful Porcine (Without whom we are as naught), how does one survive 6 weeks with no internet?"

By listening to this album. A lot.

It was tricky, I will say. I nearly lost my cool a couple of times, but I soldiered on. Any...

Mark A lent me the Ultimate Galactus trilogy that i'm looking forward to reading.

As a fellow Warren Ellis fan may i suggest his new novel 'Crooked Little Vien' thus far it is an incredibly vivid book that conjures such potent images it seems strangely comic book esk!

I have read all the Walking Deads, thus far (off Mark A), and they are brilliant. The progression is incredible too!

Mark made me watch the omega man, i think its better then i am legend but im still not sure if i love or hate it!

Hope things are sexy cool dude!

That sucks about the job, what a silly bint. Don't worry for being drunk, I thought that's what sguk meets were all about.

"Hello, Orange Broadband technical support, Sanjay speaking, how can I help?"

"Would you like my home phone number?"

"Oh, er... Yes please."

"01392******"

"Er.... Sorry, I can't find anything on that number, could I have it again please?"

"01392******"

"Are you sure that 's the right number? I'm still not seeing an account."

"01392******"

"Oh, right, OK. Please give me a minute to bring up...

Next time they ask if there anything else they can help with, ask for a Migration Authorisation Code, and then get your broadband from a more professional outfit, or at least threaten to.

All the things I've ever done, remain done. With the best will in the world I cannot undo them, even if I wanted to.

Thanks to those too numerous to mention for a great couple of weeks. You know who you are. Apologies to those I met while very drunk, you too know who you are.

Holiday now over. Off to work in the morning,...

How did you miss hearing that? 'Number of the Beast' used to be my favourite until I heard FOTD on the radio when the album came out. They've done 'epics' before but I love the the changes in the tune and tempo, and the riff; like the different movements in a piece of classical music.

....where are you anyway? Oh, hang on: I bet you're stowed away somewhere listening to it now, aren't you? biggrin

For God's sake man, get back on the internet!

It's been an OK week up to now. Work was a bit odd though, working the night of the full moon got me speaking to some interesting characters (For "interesting" read " cuuuhuuuuraaaaazy"), but did finish it off with an impromptu trip to the estuary, which was really nice, but I had no idea that sea birds complained so much about a full moon, it...

Hmm, enough of that. It seems to become almost routine that people disappoint me. Which in itself is quite surprising seeing as I have set my standards particularly low.

But anyway, yes.

My time off is from the 23rd January to the 5th Feb. Places to visit (Exact order of visitation to be confirmed) Brizzle, Bath (Possibly), London, Reading (Possibly), Brighton, Portsmouth (Possibly). If anyone...
