you're right and i'm probably going to get over it pretty soon. it was just a shock to my otherwise usual "la dee dahhh" approach to my daily life that i had to take a few to pout. nowhere to go but up from here!

to answer a question you asked me a while ago, i am from too small a town for you to ever have heard of it. its near estevan, but the population is below 100 now and all the farmers are leaving for alberta so there isn't much action there anymore. i anticipate taking my kid there when he's older, and showing him the ghost town where i used to live (because that is definitely the direction it is headed). its pretty spooky, in a way, what is happening to that rural subculture that used to make up so much of the saskatchewan identity.

I know someone who has partnered with fellow family members, pooled their money, and purchased a condo about an hour north of Puerto Vallarta. They don't rent it out, have an onsite property manager, and watch for last minute air fares to get them there cheaply. Works for me, if only I had some family members with money!

I've had people come into the house and say "is that cat full grown, it looks so small", and "do you shave your cat?"....seriously!

I love them. They're so warm to the touch, and cuddle up with you quite nicely.
