Took Manny to the vet today for his checkup. He's obese, needs his teeth brushed, and has a pellet meandering through some of his flab. Had to make him an appointment for next week for a handful of shots. That should be fun. While I was gone, this happened...
I'm having boy woes. It's not fun and I don't like it. I'm giving him until Sunday to tell me why he's insane, and if I have no word, I guess I'm moving on. It sucks because I really dig him, but now he's being weird. I don't get it... If anything, I should be the weirded out one. Just cross your fingers that he starts talking and stops acting like a crazy person.
Tomorrow is Friday and goddamn do I need a Friday. All I have to do is make it through work and I'll be solid. What a shit week...

i found out that taking a small blanket to the vet makes the visit much more enjoyable for my little one.

They're starting to lay in the carrier, so this is a good sign. They don't mind the vet, just the trip there in the carrier. I have a blankie laid in it for them so they don't get all slidey and they can snuggle. Manny pretty much sprawled out on the vet table like he owned the place and didn't put up any fuss until he wandered off the table and the vet accidentally stepped on his tail. He does like to get under everyone's feet.
