Happy Easter to all y'all that celebrate that kind of business and to those who just enjoy the chocolate. I am afraid I don't have a religious bone in my body and due to everyone around me being skint, none of us have bothered with easter eggs, so no chocolate for me.
Easter is always a rough time of year for me, for no particular reason. I just always remember it as a time of year I get ill and this year seems to be no exception. I've had my worst M.E. crash in absolute years, probably since I was a teenager. It's hard to have such a crash back into reality to remind me just how different I am from normal people, a kick while you're knocked down if you so wish. A new job, new flat, nights with zero sleep and trying to keep up with all the people I love at the same time has knocked me for six. Least the pain is better today and I managed to eat some lunch. Anyways, I don't mean to wallow, just venting. Rest and sleep will make everything ok again. Plus, the sun is shining, there is an advert on tv of an elephant climbing a tree, my dog is snoring beside me and my angels have truly looked after me this weekend, so I really couldn't ask for more.
Anyway, on to more light hearted business!
Things that make me smile at the moment:
The Rubik Cube for the blind
A dress I could colour in?! So awesome!
This trailer:
And I don't know if you guys remember, but a while ago I blogged about from Star Wars burlesque? Well, now they've inspired new t-shirts, so yum!
And although urban vinyl makes me happy, this one kinda makes me sad too!
I would also like to try these:
They sound pretty interesting
And the things I'd like to see are:
Hestons Feasts, series 2. Food from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Grimm Fairy Tales, sounds right up my alley.
And this:
I know it will make me blub as war films are generally the only things that make me do but it looks stunning!
