Not only am I fascinated by this site, but I am constantly bewildered by people who write their journals on the internet for all to see. Is this culturally significant? Does it represent a further degredation of the social bonds of our society, that we can no longer talk to each other but must share our lives and thoughts with strangers? Will anyone read this?
My guesses are: yes, maybe, and probably not, in that order.
Luckily for me, I lead quite a dull life, so anyone who accidentally chances upon this page won't find much of interest.
One quick question (I try to ask everyone I meet): is it possible to reconcile the common good with personal freedom, or is a "just state" a pipe dream?
