it's my favorite book. and ive still got to see the movie. i know that at some point i'll stand up and run to dive in the big screen thinking i'm entering japan some way.
severus:
You know I've never even heard of that book before the movie came, my sister went and watched it, I haven't seen it.

We'll see what happends with SG. It's too expensive for the broke arty girl, esp when you can't get 1 year over here and has to do the 3 month thing. Sucks.

Oh, and a very early happy birthday then February-boy!

Aw man! It's YOU who bought that one?! I was totally planning to get it for my sister. Oh well. It's in good hands. I'll be content with that. wink

Yeah, her work is great.

Re: the videos -- nicely put. And no, you won't be able to hear my voice, since I'm off in... where am I these days? ...Kiribati, that's it. Yes. Kiribati. Where the weather is lovely, I assure you.

Yes, it's not a particularly happy situation. But what can you do? Try to open people's eyes to the problems and then trust that they'll find their own solutions, and maybe ask for more help if they need it. You can't make people exercise or eat well. You can only show them why they need to and how the environment manipulates them into doing the wrong things too often, so they can avoid that.

I'm baffled. What is that?

Re: which was the better decision -- uh, in retrospect, if I had known the chicken was going to be as terrible as it was, I would have gotten some cookies or a salad at McDonald's. However, without having known that in advance, I'll usually gamble that hotel food will be better than McDonald's food. Especially since the McDonald's in Union Station is seriously the worst one I have ever seen. I went there once and they had half an inch of dirty water spilling out of the kitchen into the customer area. Nasty.

Re: flattery -- yeah, somehow I doubt cretins of that stripe are too interested in my views or writings. (Besides, that'd require them to be literate.) I just wish they'd be castrated for the good of the species. I'd even volunteer to do it myself.

But thank you for the compliments, and I'm happy to amuse. wink

Thank you! My tattoos aren't the best out there but I've tried to draw most of them myself so they're more of my own than something off the walls of flash. My creative mother had a good influence on me! I love her deeply!
