we're starting something new at the zombie safari (commonly referred to as paintball hayride) this weekend. if you're a halo fan, come check it out!
also i posted something on my facebook recently and figured i'd share here : "ruby spitfire woke with the thought of 'why is thinking for yourself such a bad thing?' so many people who claim to hate stupidity surround themselves with narrow-minded individuals. is it because they enjoy manipulating others, or because they are being manipulated themselves..." it's is something to think about. a person whose work i admire and (sadly, former) co-employee commented positively on my fb post... but then i said something that apparently angered one of her friends, someone i don't know and have never met or spoken to, and the friend started attacking me. really now people? just more drama... i'm really getting sick of this place. people wonder why i have no friends. there is a common mob mentality here, i thought it was just moberly but it is obviously the whole state. if you have a viewpoint that is different from anyone else and try to show concern over something they (or their friends) are doing, the entire mob of followers is going to bumrush you. i understand that it is important to have friends to support you when you are feeling down or going through a hardship, but acting like nothing more than a pack of wild dogs to anyone with a different opinion or even advice on the subject is just unacceptable. this is the second time this has happened to me in the last year with two different people. i'm more of the mind that you keep your problems to yourself unless it's something so horrible that you need advice and support, and a true friend isn't going to go stir up trouble with a complete stranger. that isn't helping, that's just making you look like an ass for being friends with those kind of people
