I know what you mean, I'm actually happy being single for once and only having my own problems to deal with, it makes things so much simpler. Although it does suck being a third wheel constantly, but being able to do whatever the hell I want makes up for it. I just can't handle the drama and heartache of a relationship especially after the horrible run I've had of late. If romance was a job then I'd be on paid leave...

As far as dating... I don't think anyone should "need" anything from one another. It all comes together when each person is happy with themselves, then the addition to each other to theirs lives just makes it fuller. Never feel dependent on another people to be able to live happy. This just means you need more time finding yourself.
