I'm a bit irritated at Rob.
I always bitch about how he never takes me around his friends when I visit, I feel like he doesn't want me to meet them, I feel left out, point out that I have introduced him to every single one of my friends and we've probably hung out with my best friends multiple times each time he's visited. The only reason we hung out with one guy he knows was he wouldn't leave us alone... so when Rob and I had alone time without his we couldn't fool around, but Rob didn't invite him over. I've also made it obvious that sometimes it makes me uncomfortable he hangs out with mostly girls. I don't mind if they're his friends, if he hangs out with them, but I told him "I don't feel comfortable with them because I don't know them."
...So when I'm coming to visit, you'd think when he has nothing planned that he would call his friends who he knows I want to meet....
...Instead I see that he told one of his friends on facebook (because he makes his plans over the wall application on facebook) that he would be busy the 28-1. So they're going to hang out a couple days after I leave.
I have said I want to meet this girl! I have pouted that I don't feel comfortable with him hanging out with a girl all the time I don't know. I've pouted that he doesn't want to take me around his friends.
Why is he so fucking stupid? I knew not to expect him to go out of his way to make plans specifically for my visit for me to meet his friends, but one wants to hang out... why not say "Well, Sadie's in town the 28-1, but she'd love to meet you!"? I mean, not thinking to try and get me to hang out with his friends is one thing, but if they want to hang out, why not see if they'd like to meet his girlfriend of FOUR YEARS that they've never met?
I want to punch him. That's what I'm going to do all the excess time we sit in the hotel room because he was too fucking stupid to get his friends to meet me.
I love him, but I'm so pissed because I have told him enough times I want to meet his friends, and then he tells them he won't be free because of my visit.
I know this seems like a little thing, but I get so tired of telling him things and him saying he's listening then never taking and applying them. I actually started crying when I saw that he told his friend he'd be busy... not even a "Sadie's coming into town! I can't!". I just hate feeling like he doesn't want me to know his friends, and not knowing the people that know him that he sees all the time. I actually cried about it when I saw he did that, it really hurts my feelings.
He hasn't shown any ounce of excitement, I've gotten more from his sister than him. I know he keeps his emotions to himself a lot, but a "I can't wait to see you." or "Three more days" or "I can't wait to kiss you!" would be nice. I was telling him "I can't wait 'til I can snuggle with you" and blah blah, and he didn't respond, I found out he was distracted with homework when he was supposed to have put it up for the night.
I don't think I'm overly needy when it comes to attention, but the fact he never gives me any of his own volition hurts.
