Yeah, the Jodorowsky interview was great. I asked him about awhile back, and he said it was one of the most exciting moments in his career. He was really able to pull some great-- well, "exclusive", for lack of a better word, stuff out of Alejandro, during that interview I thought... stuff you certainly wouldn't hear anywhere else.

Bummer he won't be around to give us anymore of that kind of stuff.

Now for question answering:

1. Love em. Sailin on is my favorite song.
2. I guess. Would Something About Mary qualify?
3. Yes, I liked it.
4. Down and Out... just about ties with Jaws. He got on my nerves in a lot of other stuff. My mom thinks his ego is ridiculously inflated.

5. Neville Brand/Olivia De Havilland/Kate Hepburn
6. Who is Toni Colette?
7. Of course.
8. Both
9. Must think about that one.
10. Breathless remake w/ Gere and Kapriski behind movie screen

PS- Did you ever get a hold of The Dancer Upstairs?

I have such a boner for Spike Lee.

I went to this "Night With Spike Lee" thing hosted by Elvis Mitchell. It was fantabulous.

I like the idea of stripping to Public Enemy...I'm gonna give that a shot tonight.
surlymike:
In an ongoing effort of mine to suck, I didn't go into the Hotel Shelley. frown I clearly should have since I had the time, but I was apparently too focused on taking external photos to make that little extra effort. I will rectify that, though, when I next get the chance! I'm staying around this part of the country for a while now, though: I have significant projects at work which require my attention! eeek

More later... kiss

i am a very big music whore. yes. biggrin

we had a blast - we always do. it's great sharing music. it's one of my favorite things in the world - and you know, i love putting mix CDs together, so if you ever want any input from me when you 'step into modern times', i'd love to send you some.

not that you need to. i think you have fabulous taste in music, from what i can tell. kiss
drchaos:
Heya. I'm back. Sorry you had an icky week. frown

I'm afraid that my last week was pretty good, culminating in the opening of an Andy Warhol show at the Nevada Museum of Art, followed by a party at the museum curator's house.

But you seem to be facing all the work of moving, without actually moving very far. Bummer! frown My girlfriend and I have decided to move in together, which means finding a 3 or 4-bedroom house to rent and then moving two households of stuff there. She say's she's moved like a million times, and it's not that hard, really. I've moved like a half-million times, and I'm still feeling a little apprehensive. It'll be fun when it's done, though.

Greg (whom you met) tells me he's gotten a job up in Boston at Mass General, so I expect he'll be moving up there sometime in the next few months. As far as I know, Dawn is still working in Brockton.

All that makes it seem like everyone is moving, someway or another. Maybe it's something in the stars. surreal

i got nothing folks...
