So, I got the tribal spider tattoo lasered one time- it became 20-30% lighter-it cost $400-it was excruciatingly painful.
I went to a really nice dermatology clinic with a dr. that specializes in tattoo removal in flourtown-I don't like the dr. and I would never go back there-there were some rude remarks made-long story short. However, my arm healed really well-no scarring, etc.
There's another guy that I have heard of he's in maryland-I'd go to him if I were you. But, i am not doing it again. .
It was too painful for me to endure more sittings also it was too large of a piece and too expensive and it's light enough that I am currently getting work done over it-its a lilttle tricky because it's not as light as it could be but tryin anyway.
Hope that helped.

Thank you for your words of advice. I appreciate it!

It's a 2003 Cannondale R2000.
(see link for a pic)

I'm mostly healed now (slight neck muscle pain and scrapes look like sunburn)
my bike is still in the shop. turns out they couldn't straighten the wheel so they had to buy a new rim. Parts should be in tomorrow and i should be able to ride it home.

speaking of homes, when we were talking at t-moms you mentioned you were looking to buy a house. any progress on that front?
geekgurl:
No, I'm not working from home. I was getting ready for work while updating my journal and my computer is in the bedroom. smile

I just got back from Battle Creek Michigan (the cereal capital of the world). I flew out of the Kalamazoo International Airport.

While I was there (for work) I got a lovely tour of a health resort name "The Sanatorium which was started by Dr. J. H. Kellogg (the inventor of cereal and granola) in the 1900.

Kellogg started this place dubbed "The San" as...

Yeah, I went to PU's website, read some description of jobs and what graduates have done and I realized thats what I want to do.

I'm so excited. I asked to be sent all the catalogs and stuff and I want to do a tour of the campus in August. Do you know anything about their portfolio requirements?
la_boome:
If you don't mind my asking (I saw your comment in the weight loss group), how were you able to lose 50lbs and how long did it take? I need to lose about 30-40, but I'm having trouble with discipline and motivation.

Uggggh. I feel like a freaking unhealthy mess. I stopped caring about what I put into my body and have only been thinking about what tastes good, or what I have a craving for. NOT GOOD! I have put on a few pounds and I am having a hard time shedding them.

I was doing so good this past year, I lost 50 pounds, and...

Thank you, I am starting to feel a little better. I still get sad when i go upstairs and I don't hear her squeak, or when I'm making salad and I have to fight the urge to put some on the side to take up to her. But everything heals with time.

Oh, and I know what it's like to have an uncontrollable appetite. I'll eat really healthy for a week or 2, and then suddenly it's like I have to make up for all the lost junk food time and BINGE. I've actually been fighting and eating disorder since I was about 13....it's not gone but it's manageable. I've been eating crap lately...nothing has changed on the scale but I can definitely feel it in my clothes.
