Bright, happy, chirpy, great morning this morning! I'm pumped
As of yesterday, I'm a fully qualified spray tan technician. And as of this morning, I've opened my own spray tanning 'salon', which I run from home. I use the term 'salon' loosely though, because it's not a shop front, it's just a business run from one of the rooms in my house.
After 6 months of researching and testing different brands, suppliers, techniques and services, I've finally purchased my stuff, had my training, set up my 'salon' and am ready to go!
Despite what some people think, especially in my world of 'alternative modeling', which is full of pale pinup beauties, I like having a tan. And I think everyone looks nice with a healthy, light, natural tan. There really seems to be the misconception out there that spray tans are all dark and horribly orange. Which is true, bad spray tans are! A good spray tan though, you won't even pick up as a spray tan, you'll think it's a natural tan. My goal is to provide the latter. Nice, natural looking tans.
I get alot of 'Oh my gosh, you look so nice pale, don't get a tan!" Which is a good and bad really. Bad in the way that it's really frustrating, because even when I AM pale, I still have some degree of fake tan on! Good in the way that, the fake tan I'm using, obviously does it's job of being natural, as people don't believe me when I say I have a fake tan on. For instance, I got alot of compliments in my Spring is... set, about my pale, natural skin. But guess what.... light coat of spray tan...
Same thing with my Oral Fixation set - light spray tan.
I just know that I much prefer my skin when I have a bit of colour on it. It hides blemishes, it gives the illusion of a slimmer frame, it makes skin look smoother, it makes skin feel softer and more moisterised. And not to mention, it saves your skin from the nastiness of sun baking and solariums. So personally, I like them
Anyway, enough talking, here are some pics of my tanning room
What do ya reckon?
While I'm here, I'll show you some pics that I took last weekend when I attended Wintersun - "Australia's Leading Rock & Roll Nostalgia Retro Event.... " It was great! I really enjoyed it. We looked at SO many stalls, listened to some bands and saw alot of really nice cars. My legs were super sore from walking around all day, but it was worth it
Nice right?
Okie dokie ladies and gents, I'm off!
