I was impressed with the opening ceremonies. I like the Russian national anthem; it's a rather epic anthem. The blend of modern tech and old school props was nice.

When she passed I said I would take care of the cat but now I have this cancer thing going on, not really working full time. The cat is sick, lost all the hair on its hindquarters , sleeps all the time,. I can not afford a vet or SPCA bill....

@almost_missed yeah, I know it sounds crazy harsh but I can't afford a vet bill now and a quick "22" round to the back of the head is just as quick and painless as a vets needle. I don't mean to sound like a bastard just trying to be realistic.
So this is what I've got going on; watching the Battlestar Galactica series. I'm almost done with season 2. One episode after another until you realize that 12 hours have gone by and you ask yourself "What the hell have I done with my life?"

First cycle of chemo is done. Gave myself a shot today. Neulasta, supposed to make white blood cells. I never gave myself an injection before. I usually have a high tolerance to medication. But I took a xanax and it really did a number on me. Of course I combined it with a hydro and a gabapenten and I ended up sleeping for 13 hours. Soooo, I start my chemo treatment today. Its an out patient thing. Week 1 will take about 2 hours, week 2 is about 3 hours, then we skip a week and week 4 is just a shot along with some pills for nausea and steroids. Then repeat for as much as 6 times I think. Docs said about 20% of patients the tumors get smaller...
