A true Renaissance man, Jim could debate with the best, out -Tom Wolfe anyone in his dapper white suit, and was the life of any party he chose to attend. Intelligent and sometimes cantankerous, he didn't suffer fools gladly but would give you the shirt off his back if you were a friend in need. Lawyer, circus roustabout, executive director, waiter, he did it all with style, panache, humor and integrity.
