You were right when you said that you already gave yourself an answer. The fact that you're worried about a long distance relationship taking up too many of your weekends should be answer enough.

@iggy You are right, I realised while writing this that I had essentially given too many reasons why not. The combination of the distance and the similarities with my ex is too much. It's not that I'm selfish about my weekends, it's just that I have too many important friends in my life now who I would never see if I did go further with this girl.
