We left Maui a couple of days ago, it now seems like so long ago!! As we were heading to the airport, we came across this guy ...
Not something you see everyday, but typical of the easy-going ways on the island.
I spent a day at Little Beach, the clothing-optional beach. I have decided I really like this, something about being naked in public making you feel free and open. People there were of all ages and types, but generally in good shape - to get to the beach you had to hike over rocks and a steep hill with all your gear, which probably screens out the less fit people. The body surfing there was fantastic, perfect waves for it. At one point a naked board-surfer came shooting straight at me, again something you don't see everyday. A lot of hippy types there. As I was leaving the beach a group them were singing along with guitar and cha-chas.
Here a couple more photos from the last days there...
And finally a view from the plane as we took off...
The flight took off five hours late due to a couple of delays, so we got home at 5 AM in the morning! Just recovering from jet lag. I am now back in the real world - or maybe that was the real world.
