So I finished Crysis 3 a few days ago, and I must say I was disappointed. Not because of the gameplay (Bow and Ceph weaponry were fun), but because of the feeling I got while playing it.
While playing Crysis 2, I really felt like an highly enhanced supersoldier, Prophet, fighting a desperate war against the Ceph. While playing Crysis 3, I felt like a little schizophreniac bitch called Lawrence Barnes hanging out with his drama queen friend Micheal Shit and his bossy girlfirend that came out of nowhere. Seriously, why did they have to add some useless love story...
And one last thing, just like in Halo 4, why did they have to add that whole ''I'm still human'' bullshit? That kind of thing has its place in a novel, maybe a movie... but it just seems to ruin the experience in a video game.
Anyway, I'm happy for those who liked it, but Crysis 2 remains the best of the series for me.
