When I get asked what I do for work my answer (stagehand/rigger) usually brings on the question Can you get me tickets Well the answer is no I cant get you the $200 tickets to see The Rolling Stones. If those tickets magically appear Im going to sell them and put that money to a better use than fueling a rock stars ego. I do have to say that my job is very cool. I get to go places and do things that most people would avoid if they had the chance. Many a funny thing has happened backstage and quite a few fucked up things have happened as well. It can be long hours and grueling work but the industry draws to it an interesting bunch of characters that makes the time go by easier. Since I hate to type it might be a while until I start putting my work stories in my journal but they will get there.

I've worked all over but DC is my favorite place to work. The people I've met there rock and the town has tons of stuff to do. Although I had a good time in Jacksonville working the Superbowl.

super bowl sounds cool, not that I'm a sports nut but, just to say you went to one is cool to me. not that the Falcons will ever go again but if they did I'd love it, though I'm kinda agravated with them at the moment and I've not watched a game in.... well it's been a while-
