I have been a practicing um, occultist, for more than 50 years. (really). there is about 95% bullshit around this stuff, but there is a thin thread of valid information, and influences on our lives. most everything can be dealt with by common sense and reasoned thinking. there are a few things which aren't affected by these tools, and for those, magic, alchemy and astrology...

Physics or occult agree, we are beings of energy ( the interpretation of how that functions differs ). Changing the visualizations of the flow patterns can change a mental state.

Lately I have been very interested in human behavior philosophy and psychoanalysis. Too bad I have a condition that does not let me study well and in order but when I have my treatment I will be able to do many things and among those I think that studying psychology at the University would be something very rewarding for me. Tu post es fascinante 🧐🙌🏻

is that it suddenly struck me tonight, as I have been watching youtubes of Spiti

this is actually a crappy introduction, badly edited etc. but it's reasonably short so...

--anyway... looking at this desert landscape--using the original meaning of 'desert' as in 'deserted' or 'not habitable' (hence some jungles are actually deserts!)--looking at this desert landscape and hearing the Tuva singers, the Tibetan Chanters, the...

@thebeliever you're welcome - and yes, I have been in my house a while (46 years) - it's on a lake, in a forest with 60 acres of which a dozen are wine grapes and the rest pasture for working horses.

That sounds incredible. I live in a small apartment and I'm pining for the outdoors and a yard. Maybe next year...

Last night I dreamt that I was called to a one-on-one meeting with my boss--my own Unconscious, who was a woman. She presented me with a very detailed and carefully reasoned paper on just exactly why getting up early was bad for me... starting with the eyestrain it caused in trying to determine the color of my shirt in the dark. I have taken her...

@jacleric Thanks! I hope they do too!  There's a lot of good music these days as well...but some of these ought to get a lil air time too!

Interesting choices. 😀

I wrote this in response to a client despairing over the ongoing nature of the Covid crisis. My own prediction? the virus will never be cured by a vaccine. Vaccines are not the protocol needed at this time--a paradigm shift has to happen so that there are ways of preventing cancer, aids, and these 'new' viruses that our wanton destruction of nature are producing. I...

A strict vaccine protocol could mitigate, as in Measles, Polio & Smallpox. The nature of COVID's to mutate makes the problem an uphill struggle. There are now several documented cases of reinfection by varient strains of C-19. There is research in Japan to focus on the Spike Protein ( how it enters the Cell ) which may be the way around it's ability to change. Of course it all goes out the window if there is too much Anti-Vaccine sentiment. **  Cooking, there are now too many commercials for prepared foods, with the Tag line: you don't have too cook. ** Did your reading include: "Rats, Lice & History" ?

I saw that "music which inspires me" is a recent homework assignment. Welp, as a person who listens to 18 hours of music - on average - per day, i'd have to say there's a lot of music that inspires me from a lot of genres. But when i ask myself what is the essence of inspiration, no matter how much I am about rock-n-roll,...

I'd been so impressed with the Bergman film of "Magic Flute" ( art house cinema days ) that it was among the 1st DVD's that I got. I like the part in "Amadeus" where they posit his mother-in-law nagging, inspired "The Queen of the Night".
