When I ask this question, I know there's plenty of things wrong with society, but I'm being more specific to relationships between people, and how people are to others.
So many people seem to have turned into complete flakes so caught up in their own fantasy world, where they just don't seem to care about others at all. I don't even mean strangers, I mean close friendships and other relationships. People you could always count on for years and years, now completely absent for no clear reason, other than they've become oblivious to the world around them.
I could stand up on a soap box and say, "social media is to blame! etc." Clearly it definitely has a big part in it, but there are other things causing it. People in general just don't seem to care about others anymore, it's all become a "me first" attitude, and if you can't help them get there first, then they don't need you're disposed of. Everything has become completely disposible, including humans. It's hard to count on anyone these days, as they won't instigate, you inevidibly have to go to them if you want to talk, or do anything, otherwise, you won't hear from them at all anymore.
It's really quite disappointing.
