I'm sure we all have those friends where if you didn't contact them, you wouldn't talk, and if you didn't make plans, you wouldn't see eachother.
I decided to do an experiment with one said friend. 6 months ago I decided to stop talking to her to see how long it would take for her to finally get in contact with me. 6 months and counting at this point, pretty sad in my mind, especially because we've known eachother going on a decade.
Guess there's a point when you have to ask yourself if you're actually friends. Friendship is 2 sided, you both have to put in the effort to make it work. When 1 person isn't putting in any effort, you really have to question if they even care about you. That you're not important enough to them for them to go out of their way just to even talk to you. You shouldn't have to continually remind a friend that you exist.
I've had enough of putting in effort for people that aren't willing to do the same for me.
