Hmmm.....
Good Evening Suicide Girls!
Super stoked about being on SG, I've always thought the girls were gorgeous, and now that my hubbie and I have subscribed, it's been interesting to start poking around the community.
I've never really kept a blog before. I've tried to start a few but I fall off pretty quickly. I think part of that is because I tend to feel 2 things: the fist is I feel like I have to define myself in the first post, and the second I always wonder who the hell cares about my life? Well, this time I'm going to skip all that and just run forward. My wonderful husband at least will likely be reading, so at least I'll have one person to care about what I have to say. I figure I'll just use this blog as a sort of diary and maybe a blog will spring to life.
We'll see how long it takes me to come to some sort of point Brace yourself, it could take years!
So... What's going on right now?
February is nearing its end and I'm not finally poised at the cusp of starting my New Year's Resolution. This is truly, pretty ironic because my Resolution was to quit procrastinating and get my shit together. See there? The irony lays in the fact that it's taken me almost 2 months to start "stop putting shit off"
What am I putting off? Hee hee, that's the fun part. Everything. See, I'm 29 years old and after a very wandering 10 years I'm just starting to get my act together in the way i imaging the average 19 year old does.
I graduated Beauty School about 6 months ago, just after my 29th birthday, because after 10 years and 2 major cities I finally realized I needed a marketable skill. I've been a Bookseller with Barnes and Noble for my whole adult life, but while I feel I'm a very good Bookseller, I'm not convinced it's what I want to do for the rest of my life. Cosmetology speaks to my artistic side and I get to put my retail experience helping people look marvelous. Well, after 6 moths I'm finally getting my Licensing Exam taken care of so I can actually buy business cards that say "Licensed Cosmetologist"
Once I get that out of the way I can move on to the fun one. Finally getting my Drivers License. Crazy fun!
That's the plan. Two months late but finally there's a ball, and it's rolling.
Other than that, Life's quiet. I have the America's Beauty Show coming up in a week or so... see if I can't take some fun pics there. Then life is quiet until the summer. Lets see what comes up in the mean time to rant about See if I can't keep this going a while.
See you later SG!
