This past week has been insane. I haven't been as active on the site as I like to be as a result, but I promise, once things are under control again, I will return, full force.
The main thing that is creating problems is my now ex-boyfriend. Unfortunately, there was an incident on Wednesday that has caused a lot of problems for me. I won't get in to specifics, as I don't want to taint this wonderful place with it. There's a lot of legal stuff going on that leaves me out of my element, but I'm physically ok though, and working on the rest.
Work is going really well. I'm loving it, however, I need to get some shoes that are more suitable to standing and walking. Three inch stilettos are not doing the trick. Beyond that, the women I work with are wonderful, my hours are excellent, and it's just perfect.
School is school. I'm currently avoiding homework by blogging, but don't tell my professors! That being said, I'm more motivated this semester to do well, and hoping I can get everything in order.
I've just started talking to my parents about dog number two. I'm very nervous. I live in their house (sort of a house sitting situation, since they don't live here), so it requires their stamp of approval first. I'll probably get something more along the lines of "We don't like this, but as long as you don't break anything...". Last time we had this discussion was about 6 months ago, about the same dog, and it was a forceful no. I'm hoping that with my new job, the improvements I've made with my current dog, and my dedication will be enough to make it happen. Wish me luck!
My photo set is still in the works. I had been hoping to head out to LA and take photos with one of the wonderful photographers on SG, but funds are a bit low, and the timing was off. Perhaps for my next set. Until then, it looks as though my good friend will be taking my photos over spring break, which is in March, for those of you who were wondering. I'm very excited to get naked for you all! Is that strange?
Beyond that, I'm just trying to make it through. I've got homework to do, and the gym to get sweaty in. Despite some of the more difficult things going on, I'm very happy, in this moment. Thinking about what could come out of the next month or so is very exciting to me.
I will try to post more often, but my current dog has started wrestling with me three times during this post alone! This is why he needs a girlfriend to kick his little butt. I can't do it all alone!
Have a wonderful hump day!
