SO I am now in Birmingham. First things first the Hotel. Hilarious. The taxi driver takes us to the middle of no where and pulls up in the middle of a council estate next to a huge metal security fence. But its a room with a bed and its warm so I can't complain.

Works been a trial! Apparently no one in Brum actually wants...

Sounds like it could be a bit testing today.
With those bands playing you're sure to get a noisy crowd. Good luck with that. wink

Unless of course, the weather has put paid to everything.

Time ran away with me, so I've still to watch it. but betty Blue -oh my word that film makes me cry. Its absolutely heartbreaking, but I love it!

That being just one bag is much more like it - but are you really going to seperate your flip-flops with no thought for there feelings? eeek I bet they don't want to travel by themselves... frown

I tried a kopparberg (that's probably spelt completely wrong) elderflower cider, but I have no idea if it had lime in it aswell... I've got to say that it tasted awful! But, I've had elderflower before and it's tasted quite nice - I'll give anything a go once though! smile

Yeah, my communication fails me sometimes!
As for the movie, well, the teaser is done and dusted. The movie itself though, will not be shooting until next year. And i'm getting in on that for sure.
Running about on a farm. In Wales. With Zombies.

Sorry to hear about the Birmingham thing. When i'm in London this week, i'll have a pint for you. biggrin

I don't think you'll have much problem finding stuff to do in London somehow. It's just a question if you have enough money....
I should be there myself next week actually, so looking forward to having a good wander round.

Sorry to hear your trip was delayed otherwise. Keep thinking positive, I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end!

I used to work for a hostel group in London called Belushi's / StChristopher Inn. Mine was in Camden Town which is a rad area. But they have them all over the place now. Including the continent. This was years ago now, but i know they are still kicking!
drewbeckett:
Belushis is good, as is the YHA hostel on Euston Road - though I can't vouch for the price. And cool stuff - i hope you still blog fron Scandawegen as my friends and I rather naffly call it

Hej! Jag har lrt mig svenska!
Ok not really but I have got the hang of writing and reading Swedish. But I can't speak it. The pronunciation is insane. They have a longer alphabet than us - and they have aprox 4 ways of pronouncing the letter g depending on what letter follows it. I am going to be over there sounding like a typical...

Thought of the day - if you haven't heard of Mike Oldfield then listen to Tubular Bells because it is amazing! (and you'll recognise it from the film it was in)

I'm back home for a few days seeking those family comforts I've been missing and it's really nice. I do feel like I'm 15 years old again though. I even had to wait for...

HAHA I'm on the run from a very angry estate agent. Ok it was slightly childish for me to tell my landlord to fuck himself and leave him a stack of bills but it felt good.

Anyway I just found out I'm moving to sunny Scotland in a month so I'll just have to do the hat/comedy glasses/and mac coat for a month whilst I'm...

Don't forget it's Halloween soon, so you'll have to be wandering about in disguise anyway.

But it is ace - its such an old creepy hotel I can wait to grab my camera and get some shots at night when everyones asleep. Here's one I took today or the dining area thats been abandon...
