I'm quite chuffed.
Well, I am delighted to report that yesterday was one of my better days.
I went to lunch with Diana, of course, Panera, always a good choice. We had a hilerious time, and I ate delicious salad. We also listened to more of D's fabulous music in the car...which is always one of my favourite things...we then went to the mall, because D had some gift cards from Christmas, so we went to Barnes and Noble [It should be noted, I was wearing my excellent pencil skirt.] and then we went to Old Navy, where I got a cardigan and a new black hoodie [surprize] and then applied for an Old Navy credit card, why? I'm not sure...but I did...so I'll sort that whole thingy out eventually. But yeah...then we went to Macy*s because D wanted jeans...and this is the kicker #1.
She located black velvet opera jacket, with bright purple detail and purple silk lining...I kid you not. This is fucking amazing. Now it cost $100, and it was on sale for $39, so I try it on, and needless to say, it' as cool as shit. I look like a crazed circus ringmaster in it. I love everything about it. I bought it. It's the kind of peice of clothing that kids want to sleep in...it's sooooooooo cooooooooool.
I also decided to dye my own hair for the first time..., bright red. Of course my hair was black and just growing out, which I hate, so now I have beautiful red roots, which is preferable...because it's the color I want my hair to be. I'm excited to grow it out, I'm just excited to grow it really...I want it long, like ass-long.
Then at 2130, I went over to the boys trailer, to be intercepted in the hall by Brandon and Andy and told I wasn't allowed in the living room. So, I chit-chatted with Steve, until I was allowed in, and found that they were delaying me to set up, on a loop a magnificant cum-shot...on the television. And then I got to watch really quality hardcore, in hi-def with some of my favourite people. Which I love, there's little in life that can explain how much it amuses me, that I end up watching so much porn with my male friends. Also, it throws me back to freshman year where I developed fantastic relationships with the guys I ended up watching porn with. It almost seems that this kind of behavior has been my calling-card for a long time, at least since high school. I recall having a very relevant converstation in high school with Stuart regarding strippers, durng sports day...excellent.
The evening then proceeded once Nicole, Seana and two new girls, both named Christine, [friends of Andy and Steve respectively, both very nice.] came and then I managed to get pleasently drunk...and abandon all thoughts of personal seriousness. It was great. It was particuarly interesting because a lot of how I was, definatly was directly related to reading Fitzgerald. This seem strange, but I feel like it was that enjoyable, unseriousness enjoyed by so many of the female characters I've been reading, and that I like so much. Honestly, I shouldn't drink, my grasp of limiting myself is pretty poor, but whatever.
