This weeks homework is "what is your best advice?"
Normally, I'm not one to give entirely too much advice. Other than general positive reinforcement to someone's current situation (I try to look at the bright side), I often throw out a few one liners, and have been known to live by them haha.
1. "It's all in the cosmos" or "everything happens for a reason" I tend to say these the most often. I am a firm believer of the idea that everything happens for a reason. I am NOT saying that everything is predetermined. I'm saying that with certain actions certain outcomes happen and those outcomes we learn by and grow from, and even if they are negative it is the universe testing us and trying to make us stronger. It's all in the cosmos! I swear I will have that tattooed on me one day.
2. "You can only go so far down, before the only way left to go is up" my great grandmother used to say that, and it's always stuck with me. And I tend to say that to people who are feeling shitty. It's like, there's a bright side to everything. And if you get past the bad, the good will be greater!
3. Forgive. It's as simple as that. Forgive yourself for the things that you have done that you are not all too thrilled about, and forgive other for the wrong that they have caused, not because they always deserve it, but to bring you peace. Because battling with something that cannot be changed with tear your soul out. And forgiveness is the only way to move forward.
That's really the only advice I have. Other than, maybe, "liquor before beer, you're in the clear" lol.
