So this was a pretty amazing weekend. I spent it at Niagara Falls Comic-Con and it was amazing. I was among my people. I was in cosplay and let me stress how introverted I can be so it was great. I wasn't me at the convention I was the Doctor.

I got some amazing pictures of the convention, and the other cosplayers, I picked up...

The albums are amazing! There were a lot of pretty girls, but I think that prince Leia was hottest by far. And that zombie makeup is beautifully gruesome - love it.

So time again for a proper blog post I will include of course my movie review of After Earth before I get to the meat and potatoes of the blog.

So something note worthy happened last week, I had a brutal workout on Thursday. I was very sore tired and feeling disinherited at my lack of endurance; it's been nearly 9 months and I felt...

Well done on your workout, that's definitely something to be proud of. I'm quite sure I would've keeled over and died. confused

Those are very cute pandas, the fuzzy variety ones, and the ones not so fuzzy. biggrin

Leaving your dog with the ex was a good choice, though I can imagine it was and still is heartbreaking. Huskies do need tons of space, and they need to run. I had a Malamut and she would never tire of running and playing.

Do get lost in a good book as soon as you can, there's nothing as therapeutic as that.

That workout sounds impressive, I majorly need to get my arse into gear and start working out more. Looks like your zoo trip was fun ^^

Ok so I saw Star Trek: Into Darkness last night in a special fan viewing held at my local theater. I actually got an email invitation from them as they have been tracking the frequency that I have actually been attending the movies lately. Which is both cool, and a little creepy. I've written my review, and it is Spoiler Free!!!! so you don't have...

Just a quick post, saw Gatsby last night, the review is here The Great Gatsby (2013) I was surprised by how much of the novel I remembered as the movie went on considering it was around twenty years ago that I read it. Not a Leo fan but he played Gatsby well and really I would recommend the film.
Seeing Star Trek: Into Darkness tonight...

So who's got tickets to Star Trek: Into Darkness two days before it's release? Yep this guy!!! So early review for everyone. Here is my Iron Man 3 review again.

Also I'm seeing Gatsby on Tuesday so that's going to be two reviews back to back, maybe. I'm not sure if I'm going to be reviewing Gatsby or not, but I'll try. I'm sure there...

First my review ofIron Man 3 now for the real blog.

What started out as a really good weekend ended out pretty horrible. Let's start with the good part of my weekend. Earlier in the week I reconnected with a friend that I hadn't seen in 20 years. She was one of my first crushes and hearing from her out of the blue like...

Whatever the bad side of your weekend was, I hope it's long forgotten now, or at least pushed back to where it belongs. wink Glad you got to see your friend again. Sometimes talking to someone you haven't seen for such long time is almost therapeutic.

Ha, I'm just happy that the parrot didn't poop on me. But imagine the photo if it did... biggrin
Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that Ravenous will never see the FP, but I'll leave it where it is as a reminder that I have to and can do better. wink

Oh, and that's a great review. I'm looking forward to it even more now.
fische:
Meeting someone after twenty years of not seeing each other? Wow! That must've been crazy. Are you gunna see her again?
And best ass on SG? HUGE compliment! Thank you blush

Now here is where the blog gets a little more serious.
I'm a little lost. Now I know that seems strange, my previous entries have been positive, I've been moving forward, I've had a plan, it seemed like things...

So my review for Oblivion is up on The Jedi Report Still happy with how things are going and in fact it may be paying off, not romantically but I may end up with a new job, and while not in my chosen field it is still better than what I am doing now and full time. New job, new people and new opportunities. Also...

Damn, and I was really hoping that Oblivion would be good. It certainly looked good, but yeah - never believe the hype.

Hahaha, glad you like the video and my accent. I felt horribly awkward filming that, because I was reading off the computer and couldn't see myself. You're all lucky you didn't see me pulling even more funny faces.
I'm useless in water, unless there are no waves. In that case, I might last an hour or two (if it's not too cold). wink
euphemia:
aww, thanks for your support, it makes me really happy!!

So I am a nice guy, and I am at peace with that. There may be long droughts where I am single but when I do have a relationship they tend to be long lasting and fulfilling. So regardless of what happens with either of the girls to which I show interest I am confident that I will remain happy with myself.
It seems strange,...

I'm guessing this has something to do with the dream you've mentioned? Dream or no dream, that's a very healthy attitude, and not many people are strong enough to reach that point. smile
