Another long absence since my last blog. Work has been too busy/stressful to divide my attention too much but I have a couple of reviews for you and another one that will come this weekend or I'll die trying lol.
Hoping that I will have a better September as it is typically a better month for gym membership sales than summer but we will see....

Another long absence since my last blog. Work has kept me busy, and when I get home I seldom have time to log on to check on things here, even if my laptop is on, right next to me while I'm catching up on some television or watching a ball game. I don't seem to be able to split my attention like I used to....

The little bugger was way too adorable to get angry. We gave it a name and let it steal our food.

Glad you're good, even though you're busy, and I can't wait to show you guys all the pics. smile

So my last blog was pretty short, so today is a proper blog day.
Almost a full month has passed at work and I missed all my professional goals. Now admittedly selling gym memberships in the middle of summer isn't the easiest thing to do, my co-workers met with more success than I did, however the goals I set haven't been reached by our top...

Work is way to busy, I haven't had a lot of time to be on here much but I did manage to see a couple movies, and wrote a review on one RED 2 and I saw R.I.P.D. don't see it. Very horrible. Jeff Bridges was the only shining light in that film.

Also things went well with the hand off the bully ex husband...

Wow it's been a while. Sorry for that but the new job has kept me fairly busy, this week was "Base Camp" which is where we go to drink the company Kool-Aid and get excited for work. It worked on me, between new strategies and a better attitude about my job, I am actually excited to go to work tomorrow! I've also seen Pacific Rim...

We still need to get our enhanced IDs because I would love to visit Canada again... I have friends there ..

This heat can suck a dick.

(Glad you work in air conditioning!)

I had the same problem, and it's almost impossible to get rid of that impulse to (in my case) "save" a bad boy with issues. It resulted in a few bad breakups and zero success. I can't really give you any advice, as I eventually got lucky and ended up with someone less problematic, but I just wanted to say I understand. You're realistic about it, and you know yourself. That gives me confidence that you'll do well no matter what happens.
Glad you're enjoying the job, by the way. smile

And no worries, I don't get too excites over my birthdays anyway. It's just another day... smile

RED 2 is definitely on my list, mostly because of Bruce Willis. I'll forever have a crush on that man!

This is it. My blog may go a little quiet after this as I will be working full time again for the first time in two years. I'll blog at the very least weekly as I don't think the job will interfere much with my movie viewing thus I'll still have some reviews for you if nothing else. I'm sure I'll have more to write...

So the week gets better and better. The interview process was a whirlwind, all three completed in less than three days my last one being yesterday where I had to deliver a twenty minute sales presentation. Once all that was done I was informed of the total number of applicants being interviewed, 16, and I was the first. That had me a little worried but...

So today marked the end of my personal training sessions, but not the end of my journey to being fit. Oddly enough I had my first interview for a job at the gym too, pretty sure that I nailed it! wink It will be nice to have a 40 hour work week again. It will feel odd, but the paycheck will be nice.
Tomorrow is World...

Very glad that you are working so hard for your health! :-) tell us what you thought of World War Z! I have never found zombies to be too scary before, but seeing that preview, with them swarming like that, I think it could be quite scary.

You have a point. I like the cooler weather, though I prefer fall to winter.

Still.. I can never get enough sunshine, which is why shorter days bum me out.

Canadians warm my heart, though! smile

Wow, nearly a week without a blog again, sorry about that I wasn't even busy. What I was doing was watching a lot of movies which of course leads to me writing reviews. This Is The End that comedy with Seth Rogen, Jay Burachel, and James Franco where they all play themselves, and Man of Steel which needs no introduction at all.

Still riding a...

My brother is actually thinking of moving to Canada, because he'll end up working as a taxi driver in Croatia, despite the degree. Sad, but true...

I talk a lot with my mom, and try my best to help her see reason. Before my brother's graduation, we actually had a full on screaming Skype session. I'm generally calm, and don't often fight with people, but she's one of the few that can make me yell in frustration. I hope we'll talk more when I'm home, this time with zero screaming.

That's an excellent review of 'Man of Steel', makes me want to see it even more. smile
