Last night was an event we call culture night. The whole downtown area is filled with music acts and art and other stuff. It was pretty fun. All the clubs were filled way beyond capacity and I had to wait in line for 40 minutes to get into one of them.
Lately, When I go partying, I've been noticing a lot of americans that come here to party. It used to be mainly europeans that came here for that. Maybe somebody can explain this phenomenon to me?
I had a rather interesting conversation with one of them while waiting in line at a hot-dog stand:
American: What's the eqivelent of a hot dog here?
me: What?
Him: Do they know what a hot dog is here?
Me: Dude, it's a hot-dog stand, of course the know what it is. ( all those people walking off whith hot-dogs in their hands should have been his first clue)
Anyway, I'm really hung over right now. So I'll keep this short.
Cheers,
Mazg
