i think in emotions but not words unless I'm trying to put my thoughts into word which is a huge problem for me. That's why I admire writers so much because they have the ability to put their thoughts into words and make another feal what they are thinking.

Most people 'think' in words cos that's how we're programmed... thoughts are a form of communication with ourselves and are a preparation for communicating with other people... that's what we're trained to do.
'Thinking' in emotions is a more primal & basic way of thinking and feeling... it's how babies function... they don't think "oh, I am hungry, I want some milk"... they think in symbols / images / gut feelings.
There's also the issue of language limiting your experience of something... if there's no word to desribe what something is, it can't be described adequately... so what you're feeling may have no words.
I'm pretty good at expressing myself... but at the moment, with everything I've been going through lately, I just haven't been able to even KNOW how I'm feeling, cos there aren't any words to describe it...
I hope some of that made some kind of sense!
