Marty is one of the single most talented artists whose art I've ever had the joy of beholding. If his raw talent wasn't enough, he has a soul drenched in sweet honesty, filled with a genuine joy of the blessings he sees in life. And that, that is what separates him from every other artist. He's a poet whose stanzas are formed with brushstrokes, a writer whose pen was dipped in rainbowed ink, a calligraphist whose hand refused to be bound by lined paper. Don't be fooled by subject matter; instead look at the love with which he forms his lines, the care that he takes in his creation. In them you will see the soul of a man whose desire is merely to attempt to capture the infinite beauty he sees around him, through eyes that are open to the world's great wonders.

Even in the brief time we have been exchanging emails, all this was apparent to me. Such is the brightness that shines forth from this man. The world needs more people like Marty. What an even more wonderful place it could be, filled with people with such heart. But for anyone that knows him, just the one and only Martin Abel is more than enough.

They just simply don't come any better.
