Y'know, quite honestly, the very idea of a 'blog' has been totally foreign to me. I could never understand why people would want to air their dirty laundry out in so much public. I just never understood. That was then.

Then I started posting on here the very day of the breakup. That was back on July 17th and this post here quite quickly became a form of therapy for me. I couldn't believe how much better I would feel sometimes, just after writing here. Nobody was on my friends list, I wasn't on anybody elses friends list, and nobody was commenting on my posts much except me.
Eventually, it became a ritual for me. Eventually, I started populating my friends list, and even though I've been "online" since back in 93 or 94 or something like that with my first 14.4 modem, this is the first time I have really seen the power of the internet. This site is shockingly community oriented. It's got nothing to do with the nudity here, it's the people. People like you.

Thanks for your post. I try sometimes to see it from her perspective, and I always seem to fail to understand why she could be so angry at me for breaking up with her. I assume that she should think I am a totally great guy for finally doing it, I totally don't understand the hatred she apparently feels towards me.
I sounds like you may be coming from her position in this though, and it's great to hear some of that perspective.

It would appear as though your experience here has been as cathartic as my own. I REALLY didn't expect anything upon joining this site, I was just out of a breakup myself, (still very fresh) and I can't honestly believe the stages I read myself going through here.

Yeah, actually we could really use your voice in there. Many of the women seem to be of the opinion that seduction is so esoteric and "just happens", and hence can't be studied and taught.
