I've totally been there before; my advice is to try to find another job that will offer you more hours. I'm guessing Spencer's is in a mall? Before or after your shift try stopping by other stores and see if anyone else is hiring. Put up a sign at work/ask your coworkers if they want to give you their shifts (during summertime people are always looking for reasons to get out of working).
