Hello my loves, It is a pretty good morning for myself. I hope it's the same for the rest of you. Or was the same depending on where you are in the world. :P Life is about to be crazy busy for me! So I am enjoying one of the last "bummy" moments I will have in this new crazy year of 2014. I've been laying in bed for the past two hours. No fucks given. :)
Let's go briefly through my schedule (At least the parts you guys care about). I have a shoot on Wednesday concepts include body glitter and soft lace. I will of course share some of the photo magic post shoot. Then I have a few days of work followed by a nice and much needed mini vacation to Orlando, Florida! Any Florida ladies or photographers want to meet up? I intend on making the most of my time there. I will be visiting some of my boyfriend's family and spending time with some of my New York friends, but would love even more if I could see any of my Florida peeps that I may never have the chance of meeting again, at least not for a while. So please don't be afraid to comment, or message me! :)
After I get back from Florida I will be shooting with Jason Mcneil again. (He's one of my favorites now, I can't help it). I'll save those concepts to be a complete surprise because they are far more different from the photos we've created in the past.
And then before I know it, my birthday will be here! Hopefully, I won't be broke by then because I intend on buying my first bottle of Jack Daniels legally and getting my thigh tattoo that I've been wanting forever. I'm pretty overjoyed about my idea for this tattoo. I feel a bit silly about it really. I'm using @gogo as inspiration for the portrait I want, inside a vintage styled picture frame/mirror frame. The entire tattoo will be black and grey except for a bloody heart in which she will be holding below her chin. It's meant to be sort of a reminder of who I was in the past and who I am now because of it. My artist Danny Lepore is in for some serious work.
Until then, I've gotten one more tattoo to hold me off. I covered the boring cross on my neck with this. The artist is from Funhouse tattooing out here in P.A. Brad or on instagram: @caveman1134 He loves lots of color, Harry Potter, traditional, and abstract pieces. Some people complained about this piece I had gotten, but it's his original piece and I would change nothing about it. Except maybe how bad it hurt. I wasn't expecting that haha.
However, since I love crosses so much. I've decided I will incorporate a new one or several into an idea for a medieval gothic piece I want going from my left hip up to my ribs.
Clearly, I have massive plans with zero cash. Haha story of my life, but I'm getting there. :)
I hope this post isn't boring for you guys. I'm pretty happy with what life has to offer me right now and I'm just excited about it. And believe it or not I have at least three more shoots planned for Febraury/March. Even though I will be working and traveling back and forth to NY to go to school.
To wrap this post up I want to briefly announce (and tease you) with one photo from my next set called "Compulsion" shot by Corwin Prescott.
I will have something extra special to go along with this set, but I will not announce until the release date gets closer. And this will be the only photo I share of it for a while. So ENJOY ;) <3
Love you guys!
xoxo Lavish
