I always worry about my friends when they say they're being particularly nostalgic about their childhoods; for me, it's one of the first signs that I'm getting depressed. Die Reisen sind Die Reisenden and the Skywall look interesting. The latter somehow reminds me.. Well, when I was in particularly bad shape, I woke up early and really wanted to go on the roof to watch the sunrise. But I couldn't drag myself out of bed. So I spent two hours in my bed just watching the sky in the opposite direction getting lighter and lighter through frosted glass. It was just as beautiful.
I've had a number of thoughts on death recently.. But they've come and gone. Just like everything, eh? If there's one thing I'm good at, it's forgetting. Including what it was like to be dead, that is, before I was born.

I hope the recovery is going well. I, unfortunately, became of a member of the broken hearts club last Septemeber when my girlfriend of 11 months just ended the relationship on a whim. Two days after her telling me that she wanted to be with me forever, I was single and wrapped in a world of self pity. Now, half a year later, I'm really starting to feel better about myself, life, and starting to live a little more than being a recluse. It has been a slow and frustrating journey, but I think life is worth living again. I'll stop now.
