so today was a fun day. The drive in was entertaining, me and 4 other random drivers were doing about 100+ on 270. We passed a northbound trooper at about 90+, we were a bunch of southbound pachyderms. The driving conditions were safe, low traffic volume not rush hour and no weaving in and out of traffic. Good times, but man did that kill my gas mileage. Me in my '07 Rabbit, 2 Madza's and a Ford flex. Good times and I made good time to Alexandria.
I got "talked to" about wearing jeans at work. Bitched at by our "assistant director" because she didn't know who I was. I'm suspicious because I'm not wearing a suit. Fucking stupid people. I hate the east coast and their work mentality. I so wish I was back on the west coast and didn't have to deal with this stupid ass "your only professional if you ware a suit" mentality. God forbid if I do a good job wearing a pair of jeans. I've been there so many time and have never seen this person but I have access to a room that she probably doesn't have access to, but I'm wearing jeans so I must be a terrorist. I fucking hate people like that. Whatever. I got to say hi to some of my friends. Walk into a conversation that was little funny considering I didn't know what they were talking about. That's always funny. Told them about my ex and the laptop thing and they were like FTW!?! A little validation there. The drive home was awesome, but very distracting. A great thunder storm while driving isn't a good thing. I love thunderstorms. swerving commences......
For those in the DC area I went to the Italian Store for lunch. That place has the BEST sandwiches in this area. In Tampa Moxie's rules! That place, if it's still in business and I really hope so was awesome. But in the DC area so far that I know of The Italian Store has the best sandwiches and pizza too. If anyone has any better recommendations, please let me know.
At the current moment I'm enjoying some Flying Dog Raging Bitch.
