I'm just starting my MFA, so I'm only taking two classes. One's a workshop that's very similar to my undergrad writing workshops, and the other I haven't been to yet. It's supposed to be about "ways of seeing" to help spur creativity and writing ideas. We'll see how that goes....

I didn't even notice that you lived in Bloomington until now. I went to Purdue....

((((HUGS)))) Thanks Love. This can be a hard world for women in general. Even more so for those of us who choose to walk an alternative path, be it pierced, tattooed, different hair colours, or even our choice in sexuality. Here on SG we are able to find others of like mind and spirit. It is no place/time to bring that difficult world into our refuge. This is a place for us to be about support and bonding. We know what its like to be put down, made fun of or just plain shunned. We don't need people to reinforce it in here. Anything can be swallowed if its handed out with a little kindness and consideration. "Just a spoonful of sugar." Yeah, realistic is good, I won't say something is awesome if its not, if there are problems I'll point them out, no point in unnecessary disappointments that can be avoided in the future. But you certainly don't have to discourage someone from ever trying again in the process!!! I've said it before, my only competition on this site is ME. Not a single one of the other girls on here. So why would I want to be hurtful? What purpose would it serve. I would much rather be friends....and look at all those pretty, curvy, nekkid parts!!!!! I am such a lech!!! But at least I am an honest one!!!!
