I don't know what to say or how to feel right now.

I just learned a good friend died. I am usually good with death, but right now I just don't know. He was somebody who took time out of his life and helped me. Befriended a young artist. I just don't know what to say. Alll that keeps going through my mind are memories of him.....phone calls , e-mails, nights drinking, tai chi, drawing, clubbing, eating dinner, going to movies, playing pool, and shit-talking at GoldenEye.

His name was Micheal Turner. He was a son, a comic book artist, a happy soul, and my friend.

It is always hard for the people who remain. You should cherish the memories and the fact that you probably made the harsh reality of his fight against cancer easier by being a friend.

I think he was a genius artist and it's great to know that he accomplished so much in such a short time. He was blessed with a gift and shared it with people around the world, most likely changing many lives in the process.

We all lost a friend and it hurts. But his legacy of dreams and love of life will stay in many, many hearts.

I feel for you man. I got the opportunity to meet Michael at a Wizard World in Chicago a few years back. He was truly one of the nicest human beings I had ever met, even though I only talked with him for about 15 minutes (he let me sit with him at a table and just chatted with me about random stuff). I only heard the news today and I was just wrecked. He was far far too young frown
